eFLOW
JANUARY 2010
Newmark Print is introducing eFLOW, an innovative Web-to-Print solution. Web-to-print, also known as Web2Print or remote publishing, is a commercial prepress process that bridges the gap between digital content online and commercial print production. This process allows our clients to create, edit, and approve computer-based online templates during the prepress phase, making it possible to completely design pieces from the cloud.
Newmark will begin by offering our Web-to-print solution to select corporate customers. It will feature fully-customizable secure online storefronts and catalogs. Within these storefronts, customers can choose either pre-approved templates or design pieces from scratch. Customers can alter the typeface, copy, images and layout within a template, or they can approve a template layout and design that has been created by another person. We expect the technology to be available to the general public in the second quarter of 2010,
eFlow is focused primarily on handling accounts that require an easy but well-managed route to printing through one solution, offering you the convenience of ordering from anywhere, at anytime. eFlow works however your process does - you decide which users have permission and responsibilities with regards to creating and editing, and eFlow does the rest from providing a PDF proof and forwarding orders for approval to job submission.
Verified users are able to edit text (font, color, size etc) and images (crop, re-size, apply effects) using the eFlow design interface. eFlow also has advanced features for multi-page documents such as brochures and newsletters with support for flowing text between pages.
This guarantees the perfect documents go to print every time, that each customer has their own 'ordering permissions', and that there is one reliable source of statistics regarding who's done what, when, and how much it cost. eFlow virtually eliminates the potential for mistakes, saving everybody time and effort, safeguards your corporate identity, and makes proofing simple, quick and foolproof.
